Just wanted to let you all know that you can download the Polar Lucibear pattern for free from the Crochet Me site for the first week of December. Sorry for the late reminder, but there are a couple days left before it’s not free anymore.

I still cringe everytime I see myself referred to as a “designer” in the pattern. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not cringing out of disgust or anything. It’s more like a surprising cringe, like do I really qualify as a “designer?” Me, really?? Nah, “designer” is the last word I would use to describe myself…

Much to my sister’s chagrin, they also changed the descriptive story of Polar Lucibear to a much milder version of her original story. Polar Lucibear actually had a prop, which was a ring seal plushy made of felt. We forgot to send it in along with the bear when we mailed it. I wonder what they would have done if we had permanently attached the ring seal carcass to the bear haha! Enjoy!
