I just started chrochetting as well, and the directions for row 4 of the body were a little confusing to me for a while, but I finally figured out that it’s a single crochet in the first and second stitches of the row, and then two single crochetes in the third stitch, which you repeat until the end of the row. Just thought I would clarify for anyone else who ends up wondering the same thing :)
